EBC brakes dimpled and slotted rotors are quite superior to OEM brake rotors, as they allow cooler air under the brake pad during heavy braking. EBC dimpled drilled and slotted rotors also remove water, gases, dirt and debris from under the brake pads, which improves braking and decreases stopping distance.

EBC's slotted brake rotors are dimpled drilled, as opposed to through cross drilled rotors. This prevents the drilled rotors from cracking overtime under high brake temperatures and heavy braking. When available, EBC vented brake rotor additionally helps reduce temperatures by transferring heat via vents, thus improving braking and stopping power.
